What services does Road Pilot provide?

What is a Driver Qualification File?
A Driver Qualification File, commonly called a DQ File or DQF, contains documentation used by
motor carriers to demonstrate that a driver meets applicable qualification requirements.

Do I need experience to enroll in the Freight Dispatcher Course?
No. Our Freight Dispatcher From Zero course is designed for beginners as well as individuals looking to expand their logistics knowledge.
Does purchasing the New Entrant package guarantee that I will pass my audit?
No. RoadPilot helps carriers prepare and organize their compliance documentation, but no service should guarantee the outcome of an FMCSA audit.
Is the $175 IFTA price per truck?
IF YOUR INTENDED PRICE IS $175 PER COMPANY/QUARTER:
No. The standard RoadPilot quarterly reporting service starts at $175 per reporting quarter.
Additional charges may apply depending on fleet size, record condition or additional work required.
What is included in the Operating Authority Package?
Our package includes support for your USDOT Number, MC Number, BOC-3 filing, a Getting Started Guide, and coaching support to help you launch your trucking operation correctly.
How long does it take to get my MC and USDOT numbers?
Your USDOT number becomes active immediately after approval. The MC number requires a 21-day FMCSA review period before activation.
Do you guarantee government approval?
No. Government agencies (FMCSA, Florida Department of State, IRS, etc.) make final approval decisions. Road Pilot assists with accurate preparation and submission to reduce errors and delays.
Can I request expedited processing?
Yes. Expedited options are available for certain services and may include additional fees. Contact our team for details.
I just received my DOT and MC authority. Do I need the New Entrant package?
The package is specifically designed for new carriers that need help organizing their safety and compliance documentation and preparing for the New Entrant Safety Audit process.
Where are the in-person classes held?
Our in-person Freight Dispatcher From Zero classes are held in Orlando, Florida. Students receive hands-on training in a real operational environment and gain direct exposure to how dispatching works from a carrier’s perspective.
What information do I need for IFTA reporting?
Generally, you'll need complete mileage and fuel-purchase information for the reporting period.
